Certificate of currency

A one-page document from an insurer confirming a removalist's public liability policy is current.

Apartment buildings, strata managers and commercial buildings usually require a removalist's certificate of currency before allowing them on site, often several days in advance.

It confirms that a policy exists and is current. It does not, on its own, confirm cover for your belongings while they are on the truck. That is transit insurance.
